First, let’s enjoy a tub boat ride. It is still used for getting horned turbans, abalones, seaweed, and so on. It might look a little scary, but there is nothing to fear. A veteran instructor or a skipper is on each tub boat with you. You can try rowing the boat if you want to.

After short cycling, let’s take a look at the two cherry trees at Kaichoji Temple. I will talk about the 84th Emperor Jyuntoku.

We will get to Yajima and Kyojima, a picturesque and legendary area in a few minutes.
On the way to Syukunegi, you can tour the interior of the Hakusanmaru , the faithful reconstruction of a sailing vessel called Sengokubune. Restored in 1998, it is just as large as a cargo ship built in 1858. 　
Shukunegi is an important preservation district for groups of traditional buildings in Japan. It may look sound asleep and very quiet, but it used to be an industrial base of marine transportation. It amazingly flourished in the Edo period.

Then you can enjoy beating the drums at Sado Island Taiko Center near the Kodo Village with a veteran instructor.
Finally you will reach Sawasaki. There is an octagonal lighthouse about 24 meters high.
